One robot carrier, interchangeable applications.

The VertiDrive M3 robot carrier was designed to execute a variety of jobs on steel surfaces such as: washing, grit-blasting and hydro-blasting. The robot can operate on vertical, horizontal and overhead steel surfaces.

The Vertidrive M3 is remotely controlled by one operator. The operator can stay safely on the ground while the robot does all the work. There is no need for crane assistance or cherry pickers.
The result is more comfort and productivity.

The lightweight construction and quick (dis)connect systems reduce the change-over time to approximately ten minutes. A high-pressure nozzle bar of any kind can be mounted on the reciprocating boom. This ensures a clean and effective result. The machine adheres to the surface with permanent magnets in the drive assembly. Because the robot is remotely controlled, there is no need for crane assistance or cherry pickers.

For closed hydroblast operations in all axes.

The VertiDrive M4 hydroblasting robot was designed to carry out closed hydroblast operations on vertical, horizontal and overhead steel surfaces. All the water and paint is collected using a vacuum system. Inside the blast can, a self-rotating nozzle bar with sixteen nozzles ensures a clean result.

The machine adheres to the wall with a magnetic drive assembly and can move independently. There is no need for crane assistance or cherry pickers. The wireless remote control ensures operator safety and continuous operation. VertiDrive offers a 40 cm wide self-rotating titanium rotor head equipped with sixteen sapphire nozzles.

The most compact and versatile with the greatest holding force.

The recently released magnetic crawler in the portfolio of Vertidrive has it all. It’s the most compact and versatile robotic crawler created from the experience and feedback from our customers.

All this input and experience was the basis for this special and totally new model in to have is own place in the portfolio. Even easier to operate with more holding force.

The new state-of-the-art cargo hold cleaning solution.

Cargo Holds of dry/liquid bulk carriers require a certain degree of cleaning when changing cargo. Such cleaning is a time consuming and at times hazardous task for the crew, which can be performed mainly while in port. The risk of not being sufficiently clean can be excessive, so a consistently high cleaning quality is necessary when i.e. grain clean is required. By cleaning the majority of the cargo hold with a magnetic crawler, you can reduce the cleaning time, increase safety, reduce risk and clean while in open water.

VertiDrive, in close cooperation with partners from the field, has worked relentlessly over the past years towards a new solution called the VertiDrive M8 Cargo Hold Cleaner. The robot is packed with the latest VertiDrive innovations, yet designed and tested to operate in the most demanding environments. The controls are designed to be intuitive for operation by a crew not necessarily experienced to work with (semi-) automated equipment.

Handheld magnetic robot with vertical, horizontal & overhead blasting power.

The VertiDrive M2 Handy paint-stripping tool is designed to carry out closed hydroblast operations on vertical, horizontal and overhead steel surfaces. The machine adheres to the wall by a magnetic pneumatic drive assembly and can be easily maneuvered.

The operator doesn’t feel the effect of the reaction force created by the water pressure of the UHP pump, as the magnetic drive absorbs this force. The blast is mounted in front of the drive system has a self-rotating nozzle bar with eight nozzles. A rotation speed of approximately 3,000 rpm and a water pressure of 3,000 bar with a maximum of 25 liters per minute ensure a clean and effective result. All the wastewater can be collected by the vacuum system. The controls are easily accessible on the handle. Forward and backward speed can be controlled with the flick of a switch.

A unique safety feature ensures that the UHP pump can only be switched on when the Handy is securely attached to the metal surface. If contact with the surface is lost, the pump automatically shuts off.
